No visitors book to leave a comment in so thought we’d leave this ! Thank you for a wonderful week, the cottage is so beautifully fitted out and great to come back to after miles of walking in this stunning area! We will tell all our friends and family about this little gem! Let us know if you ever intend selling! Good luck with the holiday letting! Best wishes Alex and Andy
Heather and Andy, and dogs Archie and JJ Winchester /Brighton 2-9th April 2016 We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Heather Cottage it is placed in a situation for perfect walks all around Gower, in easy reach of Rhossili for those who want a days walk. The cottage is perfect it has everything we needed including a very brave fluffy cat (Dai: our guest refers to our Peeka & Boo – our twin boy black & white cats) who came and looked in at the dogs in the evenings. Thank you for having us we will recommend the cottage to family and friends. Heather.
Marie Gane St Thomas, Exeter 9-16th April Thank you once again for allowing us to enjoy a restful and peaceful break away. I am glad you enjoyed the last of the lilies, it had been my birthday the day before we arrived and I wanted to bring some of my flowers I had received with me!! The cottage felt home from home, it was clean and tidy when we arrived. – it was so lovely to be remote and only the sound of sheep and birds, very relaxing, just what we were looking for . it was a surprise to find washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, kitchen towel, knives, tea towels, towels, etc I had brought all this with me as unsure if provided – it was just like home from home and made our stay very enjoyable – thank you Our week away was totally relaxing, away from the stress and strains of daily life.  Waking up to the sound of birds and sheep was blissful.  The cottage was lovely, Alfie settled extremely well (it was his first holiday!) and amazing walks on the door step.  The Gower is beautiful and we will definitely be returning.
Sally Hobbs and Alan Mcilroy Plaistow Green, Headley, Hants 4th-7th May The Cottage is a little gem, beautifully fitted out, with every mod con. So easy to reach the beach, the walk behind the cottage up Llanmadoc Hill is well worth the walk the views are stunning. Hope to come back very soon.
Ed & Ros Price (& Barney) Herefordshire 21-28th May Cottage is very lovely and very well designed. It was great to have SKY TV as we would have missed Andy Murray playing some great shots and winning the final of the Masters in Rome! Lovely area for walks – we look forward to returning in September . Dai and Heather couldn’t have been more helpful. See you again soon. !
Iris and David with Billy & Tommy Kidderminster, Worcs 28th May-4rd June Heather Cottage is a perfect holiday retreat – Heather and Dai are wonderful hosts who have thought of just about everything Sky Tv, was an added bonus for the sport! The beaches are fantastic, the views stunning, and the variety of wild flowers just amazing, we even found a orchids in the little nature reserve in Cwm Ivy Lane. Super cakes and pastries in the local shop and everyone was friendly and helpful. We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed our week and will certainly tell our friends. Thank  you Heather & Dai (& Peeka and Boo!) p.s. Dog owners watch out for the ticks, they are about!
Sarh and Roger Page Marcham, Oxon 4th  11th June 2016 Heather Cottage is a really clever conversion! Excellent fittings, and peaceful garden to relax in as well. Thanks for having us to stay – you even supplied weather – all week!
Val & Jim Porter &  Rielly  (JRT) Salisbury, Wilts 11-18th June This has been a very pleasant week in a lovely location, Heather and Dai have done a wonderful job with the cottage with all the “mod cons” and more, the beaches are fantastic, and the scenery dramatic, sadly the weather was not so good but in a way it gave us a different perspective but enjoyful all the same. The local hostelries offer good food with the exception of the Kings Head @ Llangennith.
Jenny & Phil & Poppy Portishead, Avon 18-25th June 2016 Heather Cottage is fab! Well fitted out and to high standard – just right for 2 people. The area is great for wondering with dogs and very pretty . The village shop is great for cakes and pastries and very friendly. Will tell friends and family how great it is here, and will definitely stay again. Heather and Dai are great hosts. !
Mandy & Geoff Hamblin & Freddie Evesham, Worcestershire 9-17th July 2016 Another warm welcome from Dai and Heather. Heather Cottage is lovely, we remember it being a garage! You’ve done a great Job. We’ve had a lovely week, sun shone for a few days, unfortunately the mist is covering Llanmadoc Village Hill today. We have enjoyed lots of walking visiting same old haunts and also discussing new places, walked through Cwm Ivy nice little café with great views down there. Also recommended is the walk from Southgate to Three Cliffs bay. Stunning scenery all around. Nice meals at Britannia & Greyhound. Only problem was 1 week not long enough, thinking of having two weeks next year! Thanks again Dai & Heather, Hope to see you again soon, plus Peeka &Boo of course! Best wishes Mandy, Geoff Hambling & Freddie. X
(Dai: Sadly ‘Rolly’ had passed away previous year! Our favorite guest dog ever).

Hope to come back to this area some time There are some good views and places to walk, we really enjoyed the beaches and the weather has been fantastic. Thanks once again, David Carol, Lizzie and Ashton. (Ashton was a recently rescued dog and was so well behaved & cute considering!)
Roz Artis Dunfermline, Fife 6-13 September It has been a fantastic week here thank you. The cottage is beautifully done with all mod cons. It was well worth the long drive from Scotland to explore the Gower again and meet old friends. Thanks you Roz and Addy (Paw)
John and Jane Oxon 13-20th Aug We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Heather Cottage – the layout of the cottage is ideal with lovely furnishings & fittings. Our treats were a real surprise & thank you. Very thoughtful! (One of us could become a serious Joe’s Ice Cream addict!) The cottage is ideally placed for some amazing walks & proximity to the beaches. The village shop had all that we needed + cake! Thank you for our stay in Heather Cottage.
Katrina, John & Peggy Dorset 20-27 Aug We’ve had a lovely welcome and a chance to start unwinding – we need another week! It’s so quiet here. The walks and the beach are lovely. The cottage is superbly comfortable & convenient. How well kitted out it is ! It would be great to come again. John loved his perfect paraglide flight above Rhossili ! that meant a lot to him. (Dai - John was aged over 70! Fair play)
Gill & Paul Gartlett Cheshire 28 Aug-2nd Sept 2016 Last minute change of plan and what a welcome relief Heather Cottage was. A fantastic part of Wales. We will recommend the cottage to other friends/family who enjoy walking. The cottage is well fitted out and everything works. Thank you for accommodating us at the last minute.
Tracey Price, Summac and Baize Rugby, Warwicks 3-17th September Long planned two week stay with lots of very helpful emails. With Heather and Dai including having a big Tesco home delivery. With two giant dogs (Akitas) its always a bit scary going somewhrere for the first time (such as will garden be as secure as home eh), Heather Cottage is just perfect – there was nothingneeded. + Sky TV was great bonus. Had some fantastic walks (Parkwood behind Heritage centre is a must) (Dai – Parc de Breos at Parkmill but there is also Millwood in Penrice near Oxwich?)  Beach days at Hillend, Great road bike cycling and running routes. Great food at Britannia + King Arthur Hotel Chippy at Penclawdd, Can’t wait to come back Apologies for any remaining dog fur from our very fluffy (must be the soft welsh water) Akitas. Hope to be back speak soon Heather and Dai, Thank you for a great holiday, Tracey, Steve Summac and Baize, xx
Edward & Ros Price & Barney the Terrier Oakchurch Farm, Herefordshire 17-24 Sept 2016 We’re here for our second stay of the year which tells you how much we enjoyed this area and accommodation and the friendly locals. Dai & Heather have been very helpful again. It’s such a wonderful area for walking in and we’ve been lucky again with the weather,.
Caroline and Steve & Three hairy hounds Gloucestershire 24th Sept to 1st October 2016 A lovely week as always love the area and Dai and Heather are wonderful hosts. Amazing views over the Cefn Bryn, great beaches and running routes. See you again next year for our 6th year, Caroline Steve Millie Cassie and Charlie
Tine & Lewis (with Alfie and Badger) Worcestershire 9-15th Oct 2016 A great week with walks on several beaches in the area, Dai and Heather are great hosts thought of everything. All the locals we have met are friendly and want to chat. Visit the local shop when here they are welcoming (and recommend the cakes and pasties all home made) If got an agile dog then be warned in (internal)  corner by gate when in garden as Badger climbed up wall and went to over the top! He didn’t get far thank god! (Dai – internal garden only no way out anyway – but we will now fit a higher wooden gate anyway) Panic set in! other than that we have 2 happy tired dogs and owners. Thanks for warm welcome and good choice of wine Lewis.
Stephen & carol with Milo Allensmore, Hereforeshire 22nd Oct 2016 Heather Cottage is wonderful. The cottage had everything we needed. The situation is brilliant for walking and we walked all directions. Made it to rhossili and back before dark, explored Whiteford sands and burrows, rambled round Cheriton and Landimore and made church in Llangennith at 10 am on Weds (Left Heather Cottage at 9am). Enjoyed tea and cake at the shop. Recommend meals at the Britannia Inn, Llanmadoc and the Kings Head, Llangennith. Very welcoming at both. Thank you Dai and Heather for the wine, milk, Sky TV, and the tourist information. We appreciated the little touches. Watching the birds in the garden, couldn’t believe we forgot the binoculars! The cottage was always warm and welcoming on our return from the woodburner was an extra for the later evening, Thoroughly enjoyed our week, Thank you very much.
